Toledo es una de las ciudades españolas con mayor riqueza monumental. Conocida como “ciudad de las tres culturas”, debido a la convivencia durante siglos de cristianos, árabes y judíos, Toledo conserva tras sus murallas un legado artístico y cultural en forma de iglesias, palacios, fortalezas, mezquitas y sinagogas. Esta gran diversidad de estilos artísticos convierte el casco antiguo de la capital manchega en un auténtico museo al aire libre, hecho que ha permitido su declaración como Patrimonio de la Humanidad....

Toledo es conocida como la ciudad de las tres culturas, por haber estado poblada durante siglos por cristianos, judíos y árabes, así como "La ciudad Imperial", por haber sido la sede principal de la corte de Carlos I de España en los reinos hispánicos.
En cuanto a la cultura, Toledo cuenta con numerosos lugares de interés y es Patrimonio de la Humanidad desde 1987. Entre ellos destacan el Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes, gótico isabelino del siglo XV, y la Catedral de Santa María, de estilo gótico del siglo XIII. Toledo ha sido también lugar de nacimiento o residencia de artistas como Garcilaso de la Vega o El Greco entre otros muchos.
La ciudad de Toledo fue declarada Conjunto Histórico-artístico en 1940, posteriormente la UNESCO le concedió el título de Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1987....
